If your appliance is in excellent working condition, it may be taken as a donation by local charitable organizations. We would recommend contacting charities in your local area for more information. There may also be repair workshops for small appliances and/or tools is your area. Electrical appliances and power tools can be recycled through the ElectroRecycle program, which is run by the Canadian Electrical Stewardship Association (CESA). Small appliances can be dropped off for free at a number of ElectroRecycle depots across the Province. There are over 400 small appliances covered under the program.
