An Update on Surrey Reuses
Thank you for your interest in reducing waste through the Surrey Reuses platform. For the last 20 years, the Recycling Council of BC and the City of Surrey have partnered to provide a free platform to facilitate the exchange and continued use of household items. Due to the unexpected closure of the reuse platform provider, iWasteNot Systems, the Surrey Reuses website is no longer operational as of November 4, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience this unexpected closure may cause. RCBC’s Information Services program is here to help you find responsible reuse and recycling options for your items. Please contact us at: 604-732-9253 (Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm) or send us an email to info@rcbc.ca and our Environmental Advisors will be happy to assist you. With thanks, The RCBC Team
Reuse Websites
The Residential Reuses program is a free online listing service that helps individuals, businesses or non-profit organizations find reuse options for household items. With over 40 categories to choose from, including furniture, appliances and garden and landscaping, it’s a great place to give away or find what you need for free or cheap.
