With recycling systems that vary around the world, ever-changing packaging, and mixed messages from different sources, it’s no wonder people are confused.

Register below and join us for Spreading Good Information, an event exploring how communication, social media, systems and shape public understanding and trust of the recycling systems in BC. We’re bringing together speakers from government, media, community organizations and the recycling industry to share insights, identify challenges, and explore how to build better public information about recycling in BC.

What to expect:

  • A discussion with panelists from the media, government, the recycling industry and those on the frontlines of public information.
  • Small-group discussions to dive deeper into solutions and build cross-sector connections.
  • Open Q&A, discussion, networking, and idea-sharing with professionals from across the field.

This event is designed for anyone working in or connected to public education, sustainability, recycling, government, or the media here in BC — from communication professionals to journalists.
