What can I do with larger amounts of used motor oil and antifreeze?

Warning message

Some recycling and solid waste facilities are temporarily closed, operating with reduced hours, or accepting a limited range of materials – please call ahead. Consider delaying your visit to facilities unless absolutely necessary by storing dry recyclables and other items at home temporarily.

Larger amounts of used motor oil, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze and antifreeze containers are eligible for pick-up through the BC Used Oil Management Association (BCUOMA).  To arrange for a bulk pick-up of your items, visit the BCUOMA website for a list of registered collectors in your area.  For further questions on this process, contact the RCBC Recycling Hotline.
