Where can I take residential amounts of leftover gasoline?

Warning message

Some recycling and solid waste facilities are temporarily closed, operating with reduced hours, or accepting a limited range of materials – please call ahead. Consider delaying your visit to facilities unless absolutely necessary by storing dry recyclables and other items at home temporarily.

Product Care Recycling operates more than 100 free drop-off depots around the province for residential quantities of gasoline. The gasoline must be left at the depot in an approved ULC container (certified jerry can) no larger than 25 litres. You will receive a $10 voucher to reimburse you for part of the cost of the containers left at the depot. There is a limit of 3 vouchers issued per person per year. Call the RCBC Recycling Hotline for details and locations or search for your nearest depot on the RCBC Recyclepedia.
