What strategies and approaches can be leveraged to ensure consumer access to recycling programs, province wide?
From depot drop-off to curbside collection, recycling systems seek to recover as much material as possible to drive diversion, increase recovery, and improve recycling rates. So what happens when established collection systems don’t meet consumer needs? Or when longstanding systems are not suitable for new or difficult to manage materials?
Register below and join us in-person at UBC Robson Square for Addressing Accessibility: Ensuring Consumer Access in Recycling Systems to dig into the different ways that Producer Responsibility Organizations, local governments, and independent service providers bring consumer access to the forefront.
What to Expect:
- Presentations and panel discussion featuring service providers from across the solid waste and recycling sector.
- Small group discussion & idea sharing.
- Open Q&A, discussion, networking and idea-sharing with professionals from across the field.
